It's probably not fair to taste another wine after the 2013 Langhe Nebbiolo

on a lingering candied violet note

but better in two or three years

game and leather hints

Ballot Millot, Meursault Blanc Vintage:2022 Both bottles I tasted(from Les Pelles, Les Corbins, Peutes Vignes and Chaumes de Narvaux). A top note of hazelnut is present on the smoky aromas of acacia blossom, honeysuckle and pear. The textured, firm and tension filled medium weight flavors possess a lovely texture on the very dry, refreshing and youthfully austere finale. This could use a bit more overall depth, but my rating assumes that will gradually develop.
